Firmware (loading…)

This browser can't talk to USB devices. Open this page in Chrome or Edge on a computer.

1. Plug ministar into this computer with a USB cable.
2. Close anything else that might be using its port, like the Arduino app or a serial monitor. Music apps using its MIDI are fine.
3. Click Update and choose ministar from the list.

Update

Copy the log

While it updates, the screen says updating. Your settings and saved loops are kept, and if something goes wrong you can just try again. At the end the page checks that ministar has started with the new firmware.

If it doesn't work

If ministar doesn't show up, or an update stopped halfway, put it into update mode by hand: hold the BOOT button on the ESP32 board, press RST (or plug the cable in) while holding it, then let go of BOOT. Then click this button:

Update a ministar already in update mode

If the screen still says updating after an update, unplug ministar and plug it back in. The same goes if you closed the page or pulled the cable during an update. It will play as before, or you can try again.
